Portable US 2200 GA machine for geotextile

Specially prepared type of Union Special 2200 sewing machine, designed for sewing of geotextiles used for road building, dehydration works or greenhouse constructions.

To prepare the machine for heavy duty operation, following changes have been introduced:

• extra heavy top and bottom feed
• heavy duty looper with large eye
• large thread cone stand
• easy access for needle adjustment
• large size needle

Basic technical data:

• sewing speed: 1200-1700 rpm (depending on stitch length and material)
• seam specification: double locked chain stitch 401
• stitch range: 3-9 mm
• sewing capacity: up to 9 mm (for paper bags, up to 24 paper plies)
• standard linear speed: 12 m/min at 1500 rpm and 8 mm stitch

Power supply versions available:

• 220-240 VAC; 50/60 Hz
• 12 VDC
• 24 VDC (delivered together with portable accumulators and charger) also, compressed air powered (3,5 bars) version of the machine is available.
