Union Special 80800 bag closing machine
Bag closing sets based on Union Special 80800 are dedicated for heavy duty work in production cycle.
Filled bags can be closed with double locked chainstitch.
In addition, folding of top of the bag and securing the stitching line with crepe tape is possible (depending on type of the machine, as well as on used accessories).
Union Special 80800 bag closing heads are available in standard version (on/off activated by means of foot pedal) and in automatic (started by sensor's signal).
Basic technical data:
- sewing speed: 1800 stitches/min. (depending on stitch length and material)
- seam specification: double locked chain stitch 401
- stitch range: 6,5-11 mm
- sewing capacity: up to 12,7 mm (for paper bags, up 32 paper plies)
- standard linear speed: 14,4 m/min at 1800 rpm and 8 mm stitch

- start/stop mode controlled by proximity sensors
- automatic chain cutting with electropneumatic knives
- fold-over device
- bag top cutting and crepe tape application (50-60 mm)
